The "talk test" is an easy way to determine if you are exercising at your optimal level. If you can speak two consecutive sentences without gasping for air you are probably exercising within an appropriate range. if you cannot speak even one sentence without struggling to breath you are likely pushing yourself too hard.

Yes! Regular walking helps to reduce anxiety and stress which contributes to health and well-being. Physical Activity is also a way to get rid of tension and frustration. Walking has been shown to:

  • Improve self confidence and body image
  • Imrpove mood and feelings of well-being
  • Decrease anxiety and stress
